Hays Travel Weymouth organised a charity quiz night at the Weymouth Pavilion in aid of Dorset Mental Health Forum, Carer Support Dorset and YoungMinds.

Dorset Mental Health Forum is a charity that aims to increase understanding of mental health and support people’s recovery. Carers Support Dorset provides free, confidential support to people of all ages caring for loved ones and those close to them. YoungMinds is a national charity that ensures all children and young people can get the mental health support they need and deserve. All charities are close to the branch’s heart and therefore they wanted to do everything that they could to ensure that funds were raised for them.

On the night, the branch had welcome drinks sponsored by MSC Cruises, and a quiz where the winner could win a case of Moet, that was kindly donated by Virgin Voyages. In addition to the quiz, the branch also had a raffle where top prize was a Hays Travel gift card as well as several other prizes donated by local businesses.

In total, over 200 people attended the event and managed to raise an incredible £3,000 was split between the three charities.
