Thanks for stopping by and taking a look at my page.

I have 30 years experience in the travel industry and have enjoyed helping my clients find the right hotel or holiday deal for them and their families, now as a Personal Travel Consultant for Hays Travel I have the flexibility and the tools at my disposal to continue doing so.

Things are often not quite as straightforward as they used to be, differing baggage policies, knowing what is included and what isn't. That's where I come in, taking the hassle out of everything - all documents can be printed and posted or emailed depending on your preference. 

Online check-in if required will be done for you, the only thing I won't do is pack your bags and to be honest you wouldn't want me to.

Places that make me smile

  • Italy

    Italy

    For me the all rounder has to be Italy, the sights, the culture, the history and of course the food! 

    From top to bottom there is so much to see and to take in, the canals of Venice, the amazing food of Bologna and breath-taking vistas throughout.

    I've been lucky enough to visit Italy many times but one of my favourite trips was to Ravenna for a friend's wedding before taking a train to Venice, it wasn't the Orient Express sadly but it was a fabulous journey.

     

  • Seychelles

    Seychelles

    Over 100 islands make up the Seychelles but only a few of these can you stay on. Many years ago when I first got into travel I was very fortunate that my boss was keen for us to experience as many places as possible. 

    I visited 3 of the larger islands, Mahe, Praslin and La Digue. Having grown up in Cornwall I thought I knew what a beach was until I saw the stunningly pure white sands of the Seychelles. Simply mind-blowing.

    Here you are able to do as little or as much as you want and of course the food on offer is outstanding, especially the seafood.

    There are a range of hotels to suit all tastes and budgets but one thing is guaranteed you'll never ever forget these beautiful islands.

  • Barbados

    Barbados

    I think a good holiday is not just about where you go but who with and the memories you take away from it.

    In 1996 myself and 3 friends travelled on an Airtours package holiday to Barbados for under £300pp. The experience for us all in our early 20's was amazing and one we all talk about today.

    Of course there are great beaches, good nightlife and the weather wasn't bad either. There are various watersports you can partake in, boat trips but one of our most memorable times was hiring a mini moke to explore the island. 

    For anyone that has yet to visit the Caribbean then Barbados is a great starting point.
