I have had the good fortune to visit Ibiza on a number of occasions over the years. The island is best known for its partying, but it can also offer a real sense of peace and calm, and many of the resorts are great for families with children. I especially liked Santa Eulalia with my children, and Ibiza Town is lovely to wander around. We hired a car and explored the island, which was fun for my children, and interesting for us. Whatever you’re looking for in a family holiday, Ibiza has it for sure.

Over 18 million visitors pass through Malaga Airport each year, and many of them don’t visit the city itself, which is lovely to wander around. The city is near the sea (so has great beach bars, etc.) and there are many great shops, restaurants and bars. It’s an overlooked gem, and I’d certainly recommend a long weekend, or even a full week there, as there is lots to do. It’s really peaceful and warm most evenings, and it still amazes me to see families wandering round together close to midnight, enjoying each other’s company/meeting friends and relatives.

New York is a fantastic place to visit. It’s like being on a film set, as so many of the sights are instantly recognisable to us. There is so much to do, and so much to see, it really is wonderful walking around its different areas. I would certainly recommend a visit to the city of New York, it isn’t as expensive as you might think.
