Set in downtown Baton Rouge on the banks of the Mississippi River, this hotel is two blocks from Louisiana’s Old State Capitol with the City Centre, USS Kidd & Naval Museum, Hollywood Casino, Louisiana State Museum, and Magnolia Mound Plantation all within a couple of miles. 

Seven nights – Western Caribbean Cruise – Carnival Liberty

Embark Carnival Liberty in New Orleans as she sets sail toward the Western Caribbean. Two days at sea are your chance enjoy the ship’s exciting entertainment, food, and activities. Your first port of Mahogany Bay on Roatan Island is perfect for meeting Gumbalina Park’s capuchin monkeys. Belize leads you to the local ancient ruins of Cahal Pech, Altun Ha, or Xuananunich. Mexico’s Cozumel lets your snorkel with iridescent fish at Chankanaab National Park, before a fun day at sea and your arrival back into New Orleans.

Three nights – Bourbon Orleans Hotel – New Orleans

This storied hotel is the heart and soul of New Orleans’ French Quarter and sits behind Jackson Square and between Bourbon and Royal Streets. Enjoy a café au lait and fresh beignet at the famed Café du Monde. Head to the Mississippi River to play Hurrah’s Casino’s slot machines and set sail on a jazz cruise.
