I live with my Husband Rich, we both share a massive love of travel! Between us we have 5 children, all of which love holidays, whether it’s a staycation or a trip to Florida, we’ve only got to mention the word holiday and all of a sudden we have their undivided attention.
I am extremely fortunate to have travelled to a variety of wonderful and exciting destinations around the world and have gained an extensive insight into all types of holidays, from busy Florida Disney holidays to lazy beach holidays. I think so far my favourite places to visit have been Dominican Republic, Florida and Croatia.

Florida
I first went to Florida when I was 9, and it soon became one of my favourite places to visit. Florida has everything you could ask for in a holiday in one place, you’ve got the world famous theme parks, and some amazing beaches. Even if you want to steer clear of busy places, there are so many things to do. I could talk all day about the options you have in this amazing destination… the perfect family holiday!

Dominican Republic
After we got married in 2019, we left the kids with Grandparents and ventured off on our honeymoon to the Dominican Republic. It is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited. If a lazy beach holiday is what you are looking for, this holiday is for you. With weather generally up around 30 degrees, you can waste away a lot of time lounging on a sunbed with a cocktail or two. And if that ever gets boring, there are lots of excursions available, a must is a daytrip to Saona Island, if you love beaches you won’t find a more idyllic location than this. In my eyes it should be one of the seven wonders of the world!

Croatia
Split in Croatia is the perfect family holiday destination. One day you can be lazying on the beach, the next having adventures in the mountains. Two of our favourite things to do were a day long boat trip to swim in the clearest of water where you can look down and see old shipwrecks and a trip to the most stunning waterfalls you will ever see at Krka National Park. If a city break is more what your looking for, a weekend in Dubrovnik with the quaint little shops and restaurants will keep you entertained. The limestone streets, fortress and defensive walls, red roof tiles with views along the Adriatic coast, all create the perfect fairy tale like destination.
