Tour Itinerary

• Day 1: UK - Oslo

  Today you fly to Oslo and on arrival, transfer to your hotel in the centre of the city. The rest of the day is free for you to either relax or start exploring.

• Day 2: Oslo

  Start the day by exploring the city with an expert local guide. Enjoy panoramic views of the Opera House, Karl Johans gate (Oslo’s main shopping street), Akershus Castle and Fortress, and the Royal Palace. Then, take a picturesque ride through some of Oslo’s prettiest neighbourhoods to Vigeland Park, home to more than 200 sculptures.

• Day 3: Oslo - Voss

  After breakfast you’ll board the Bergen Railway, for a scenic journey to the remote mountain station of Myrdal. At Myrdal station, located 866 metres above sea level, board the famous Flåm Railway, one of the most beautiful and steepest standard gauge railway lines in the world. Admire the spectacular scenery of vertiginous mountainsides and numerous foaming waterfalls as you journey along 21 hairpin bends and 20 tunnels before arriving in Flåm. Here, you’ll board a ship for an unforgettable crossing through steep mountains on the beautiful Aurlandsfjord and Naeroyfjord to Gudvanger, offering breathtaking views at every turn. You’ll then continue by road to Voss in the heart of the fjordlands.

• Day 4: Voss - Ulvik

  This morning, you’ll descend into the lush valley of Hardanger. As you wind your way along the snaking roads, admire towering mountains with occasional snow-capped peaks, charming villages and picturesque fjords. Journey to Ulvik, a cosy village on the shores of Hardanger Fjord where you’ll stay overnight. In the region you will find many fruit orchards and farms that produce their own cider from the region’s apples.

• Day 5: Ulvik - Bergen

  After breakfast depart Ulvik and enjoy a scenic drive to Bergen. Nestled between majestic mountains and the shimmering waters of the North Sea, Bergen is a city that captivates the heart and soul with its old-world charm. Bergen is Norway’s second largest city and is a UNESCO world heritage city with the Bryggen area being one of its finest attractions.

• Day 6: Bergen

  This morning, take in the rich history, vibrant culture and breathtaking natural surroundings of Bergen on a sightseeing tour with an expert local guide. Visit the fish and flower markets and Bryggen Hanseatic Wharf. There will be free time in the afternoon for you to explore.

• Day 7: Bergen - UK

  Today you fly back to the UK.
