City breaks
New York, Budapest, Prague to name a few, I love that feeling of arriving knowing you have a short time to explore, so planning is key to covering as much as possible. I am a bit of a culture vulture so sightseeing is always top of my list closely followed by the local food and a good cup of coffee. -
Beach flops
Caribbean, Asia or Europe, I love them all. Mexico is my favourite for the white sandy beaches and endless cocktails with a bit of culture thrown in. The Indian ocean has to be the most perfect clear blue sea I have ever seen, the food in Thailand is pretty amazing too. Kefalonia, Rhodes, Majorca and France also have lovely beaches if you know where to look and who doesn't love a Greek taverna or a bit of Spanish tapas. -
UK break
I also love a UK break, I have visited many counties and cities in the UK and I can honestly say the beauty of this country is second to none. Cornwall, Devon, Norfolk amazing beaches. Cambridge, Ely, Liverpool are all great cities with stunning architecture and culture.
I also love a cruise and have experienced most of the cruise lines that sail from Southampton which is very close to my home town, very convenient!
