Room Facilities
Hotel Laxnes has a total of 26 modern guest units across six categories; ranging from Double/Twin Standard Rooms through to Suite Rooms. Double/Twin Standard Rooms are either on the ground or first floors and feature a garden view, twin beds or a double bed, bathroom with a bathtub and shower, tea/coffee making amenities, writing desk and chair, flat-screen television, and complimentary Wi-Fi.
Food, Drink & Entertainment
The Bar opens each morning between 07:30 and 09:30 for a delicious buffet breakfast to enjoy in the lounge or on the patio; including porridge, cereals, muesli, milk and yoghurt, bread, pastries, a selection of cold meats, cheese, vegetables, fruit, and boiled eggs and waffles, and ready-made filter coffee and a selection of teas.
From 17:00 to 23:00 every night the Bar also offers a range of different drinks both local and well-known international brands; a tasty traditional Icelandic lamb soup is served with bread and a complimentary refill from 18:00 Sundays to Thursday (to be pre-ordered) and you'll find a large screen to watch sports. There's a billiards table and a dart board in a room above the bar area too.
