Delve into two of New South Wales’s most popular cities on this nine-night Sydney and Melbourne twin-centre adventure. Five nights in Sydney is your gateway to iconic sights like Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Darling Harbour, Manly Beach, and Bondi Beach. Four nights in Melbourne leads you to the Old Melbourne Gaol, Otay Fly Treetop Walk, Eureka Skydeck 88, and Royal Botanic Gardens. We’ve also included four amazing days trips – the Blue Mountains and Hunter Valley Wine Tasting from Sydney and the Great Ocean Road and Phillip Island from Melbourne – to add flavour to your New South Wales experience!
Amora Hotel Jamison, Sydney – 5 Nights
New South Wales’s capital - Sydney - is packed to the brim with iconic sights and attractions. Take time to explore Sydney Harbour with its Opera House and Harbour Bridge; before relaxing with a seafood platter and a glass of wine in an open-air, waterside eatery. Admire the spectacular architecture at Parliament House, Australia Museum, and Sydney Town Hall.
Ride to the top of Sydney Tower Eye for amazing cityscapes and to meet the challenge of the Skywalk. Head across to Darling Harbour and visit Sea Life Sydney Aquarium and Wild Life Sydney Zoo, before delving into the city's history at the nearby Rocks area and Rocks Discovery Museum. Jump on a ferry to take in the delights of Manly Beach and to surf the iconic shores of Bondi Beach.
Full Day Blue Mountains Tour
This ten-hour tour starts with a drive over Anzac Bridge, passing Sydney Fish Market, and heading to Canada Bay as it heads west. The 1.5-hour journey takes you to the heart of the Blue Mountains District where you’ll stop at Echo Point to experience the blue haze, the vast Jamison Valley, the spiritual presence of the Three Sisters, the Dream Time Stories, and the magic of the Blue Mountains.
At Scenic World - enjoy the Scenic Skyway and the thrill of walking on air with a see-through glass floor showcasing views of the valley 200m below; travel on the Mountain Devil railway, stroll through the ancient rainforest, and ride the Scenic Cableway. Visit secret locations around the Blue Mountains and stop at one of the quaint villages to relax with lunch (own expense) and explore the shops.
Arriving in Sydney’s Western suburbs; visit Sydney Zoo’s koalas, baby wallabies, emus, wombats, crocodile, and nocturnal animals. The finale is a Ferry Trip on the Parramatta River to Circular Quay - travel under the Harbour Bridge and past the Opera House; before disembarking at Circular Quay at approximately 17:00, where the tour concludes, and you make your own way to your hotel.
Australia Full Day Hunter Valley Wine Tasting Tour
This 10.5-hour tour provides you with the opportunity to relax, get away from the city, and enjoy some fabulous food and wine in Australia’s oldest wine-growing region – the Hunter Valley - with its 90+ cellar doors. This amazing experience perfectly combines world renowned wines, gourmet produce, and stunning countryside to create a great, relaxing day!
The day's focus is on the boutique wineries and showcases the passion of the winemakers. You’ll have access to a range of excellent wineries and get to meet some of the people who make and grow the wine. Hotel pick-up and drop-off from selected hotels, café lunch with a glass of wine, tastings at three boutique wineries, cheese tasting, and commentary are included in the tour.
Veriu Queen Victoria Market, Melbourne - 4 Nights
Melbourne is a lively and cosmopolitan city in the state of Victoria on Australia's south eastern shores. The city is a shopper's paradise – from Melbourne Central’s 300 shops and The Block Arcade and Royal Arcade’s niche boutiques to the open-air Queen Victoria Market. Stop by Federation Square’s Ian Potter Centre and Australian Centre for the Moving Image or pay a visit to Old Melbourne Gaol.
Take a walk across the Otay Fly Treetop Walk or marvel at the 360-degree vistas from Eureka Skydeck 88. Experience up-close encounters of marine life at Melbourne Aquarium and the wildlife at Melbourne Zoo and Healesville Sanctuary. Admire Royal Botanic Gardens’ stunning flora and fauna. Go swimming, surfing, or sunbathing at the Brighton, Williamstown, and St Kilda beaches.
Full Day Phillip Island Tour
This 8-to-9.5-hour animal adventure starts with a visit to Moonlit Sanctuary Conservation Park where you’ll have time to take photos and have close encounters with animals like kangaroos, wombats, and echidnas. Next, you’ll head to Phillip Island and onto Woolamai Surf Beach to catch a glimpse of the awesome waves and die-hard surfers (weather permitting).
Cross the island to reach the dramatic west coast and the Nobbies; where you’ll be awe-struck by the crashing waves. Finally, it’s time for the main event, the Penguin Parade. Take your seat on the protective platform to see hundreds of little penguins waddling onto the beach. Then it’s time to return to Melbourne, where you’ll be transferred to your accommodation.
Full Day Great Ocean Road
This 11-hour tour lets you experience this majestic coastal drive with plenty of stops along the way to appreciate the wonders of this world-famous route. Keep your eyes peeled for special animals including whales, dolphins, echidnas, and bandicoots. Enjoy breathtaking vistas over the Southern Ocean and stop for a rainforest walk to experience the region’s cool climate and heavy rain.
There’s free time for lunch (own expense) in the town of Apollo Bay. Later, head to the 12 Apostles limestone rock formations. Nearby, discover another ancient natural attraction - Loch Ard Gorge - where you’ll hear the story of the shipwreck and its survivors and get to dip your feet in the water at the Gorge’s quaint beach. Return to Melbourne and be transferred to your accommodation.
