New England in the Fall Tour

Catch your breath at one of nature’s greatest sights, journey through some stunning countryside, and visit two wonderful cities.

Day 1: UK - New York

Fly to New York, meet your tour manager and board the coach to transfer to your overnight stay in New Jersey.

Day 2: New Jersey

Transfer across the Hudson River into the heart of New York. Marvel at the famous sights such as the Empire State building, bustling Times Square and Central Park. Return to New Jersey to unwind.

Day 3: Vermont

Board the coach to journey north through Upstate New York. Visit the Yankee Candle flagship store in Deerfield then continue into the scenic Berkshire Hills for an overnight stay in Mount Snow, Vermont.

Day 4: Maine

Enjoy a full-day tour through New England’s spectacular scenery, travelling through Quechee Gorge and along Kancamagus Highway, admiring the fall foliage displays. You’ll stop in North Conway then head to Maine for a two night stay in the beautiful mountain village of Bethel.

Day 5: Bethel

Today you can join the optional excursion to Mount Washington and ride the mountain’s historic Cog Railway to the summit of New England’s highest peak. Alternatively, take today to relax, recharge and enjoy the delights of Bethel.

Day 6: Nantasket Beach

Today you will journey south to the city of Portland, with its waterfront wharves and fine seafood restaurants, then continue to the resort of Nantasket Beach, south of Boston, where you’ll stay for two nights.

Day 7: Boston

Today join a guided tour around Boston, one of America’s most welcoming, walkabout cities. Explore the waterfront area and the famous Freedom Trail before returning to Nantasket.

Day 8: Plymouth and Rhode Island tour

Head to New York to board your overnight flight back to the UK. On the way, call into the Pilgrim City of Plymouth.

Day 9: New York - UK

Arrive back in the UK.
