Epic Wonders of the National Parks

Day 1: UK - Denver

Fly from the UK to Denver. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and settle in.

Day 2: Rapid City

Journey to Rapid City and stop at the Fort Laramie on the way. Tonight, head to Fort Hays Chuckwagon supper and cowboy music show located on the film set of ‘Dances with Wolves’.

Day 3: Mount Rushmore & Badlands

Visit Mount Rushmore, with its famous granite sculptures of Presidents Roosevelt, Lincoln, Washington, and Jefferson. The highlights continue this afternoon with a tour of Badlands National Park.

Day 4: Deadwood

You’ll head into ‘wild west’ territory today with a drive through the Black Hills to Deadwood.

Day 5: Little Bighorn Battlefield

Enjoy a guided tour of the historic battlefield site of the Battle of Little Bighorn.

Day 6: Yellowstone National Park

Set foot in the world’s first national park – Yellowstone. On your tour you’ll see ‘Old Faithful’, which erupts every 93 minutes.

Day 7: Grand Teton National Park

Explore Grand Teton – famed for its beautiful landscapes dominated by snow-capped peaks, lakes, and glaciers.

Day 8: Salt Lake City

Head to Utah today for an overnight stay in the state capital, Salt Lake City.

Day 9: Canyonlands National Park

Canyonlands National Park is an incredible rugged landscape of canyons carved by the Colorado River. The islands in the Sky district of the park offers expansive views from many overlooks of the canyon wilderness below.

Day 10: Arches National Park

Visit Arches National Park – the world’s greatest concentration of red sandstone arches.

Day 11: Mesa Verde National Park

Explore Mesa Verde National Park, this archaeological masterpiece is famed for its cliff dwellings.

Day 12: Monument Valley

Head to Monument Valley, instantly recognisable as the setting for many spaghetti westerns.

Day 13: Grand Canyon

See the iconic natural wonder that is the Grand Canyon. Stop just outside of the National Park and enjoy a Navajo Taco from the Native Grill supported by the Travelsphere Cares programme.

Day 14: Bryce Canyon National Park

View the spires of rock and vast natural amphitheatres that form the unique geology of Bryce Canyon.

Day 15: Zion National Park

Tour Zion National Park before travelling to the man-made wonder that is Las Vegas.

Days 16-17: Las Vegas

Spend time at leisure exploring the city. Take a stroll down its famous Strip to see some of the most extravagant hotels. Later this afternoon you’ll transfer to the airport for your return overnight flight to the UK.
