Itinerary
Day 1: Luxor
On arrival in Luxor you'll transferred to Jaz Crown Jubilee; where you’ll be welcomed aboard ready for the start of your cruise! Make yourself at home in your cabin before enjoying an afternoon at leisure. The ship will be docked in Luxor overnight; giving you the chance to explore the on-board facilities and enjoy a delicious dinner.
Day 2: Luxor, Esna, and Edfu
This morning is your chance to explore some of Luxor's highlights - tick the Necropolis of Thebes, Valley of the Kings, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon off your list. After a morning of exploring, board the ship again as she sails to Edfu via Esna Lock. Sit down for lunch, enjoy tea time on the sun deck, and then look forward to the Manager’s Cocktail Party in the lounge bar before a delicious dinner. The ship will dock overnight in Edfu.
Day 3: Edfu, Kom Ombo, and Aswan
While docked in Edfu for the morning; disembark and pay a visit to the Edfu Temple, which is dedicated to Horus, the mythical son of Isis and Osiris. Step back aboard for lunch; followed later by tea time on the sun deck. The ship will sail to Kom Ombo in the afternoon - where you can visit the Temple of Sobek and Haroeris - before continuing down the river to Aswan. Dinner this evening is followed by a Galabya Party and an overnight stay aboard in Aswan.
Day 4: Aswan
The ship will be docked in Aswan all day, so it’s the perfect opportunity to visit the High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk, and Philae Temple in Aswan. After lunch; you could also fit in a relaxing trip on a felucca to take in the views of the Agha Khan Mausoleum and Elephantine Island as you sail past or even a visit to the Botanical Gardens. After dinner this evening; you can look forward to a Nubian Show before a second night's stay aboard in Aswan.
Day 5: Aswan
You’ll wake up in Aswan again today. In the morning, head over to Abu Simbel Temple, an ancient wonder that’s well worth looking around. Spend the rest of the day on the ship making the most of the on-board facilities. Take your seat for lunch, followed by tea time on the sun deck. Later you can join your fellow travellers for a delicious dinner; before your final night's stay aboard in Aswan.
Day 6: Aswan, Kom Ombo, and Edfu
The ship will start sailing to Kom Ombo early; so it’s likely you'll wake up there. Squeeze in an early morning visit to Kom Ombo Temple after breakfast; before returning aboard in time for the sailing to Edfu. Here you'll have some free time to explore; before the ship starts sailing back towards Luxor via Esna. Enjoy tea time on the sun deck; later get ready for dinner and a Galabya Party, followed by an overnight stay aboard in Luxor.
Day 7: Luxor
After breakfast, you can set out an optional visit to Karnak and Luxor Temples. Savour a relaxing lunch and tea time on the sun deck. Finish off a perfect evening after dinner with a show featuring belly dancing and whirling dervishes; before you turn in for a final night's sleep aboard in Luxor.
