Riu Karamboa offers plentiful facilities, including: five outdoor swimming pools, sun terraces and beach with loungers, towels, and parasols; direct access to Praia das Dunas, gardens, five restaurants, six bars, weekly RiuParty themed parties, spa with steam room, two relaxation pools, beauty salon, gym, and a menu of massages and treatments; complimentary Wi-Fi throughout, shops, adapted rooms for disabled guests, GOLD certification for the Travelife Sustainability System, and 24-hour reception with laundry service and currency exchange.  

Sports and activity-wise, you'll find: the RiuArt atelier with activities programme, Splash Water World water park with water slides and open six days a week (shared with neighbouring Riu Palace Boavista), beach volleyball court, daily group fitness activities at the RiuFit area, daytime animation programme, and water sports including kayaks, snorkelling equipment, pedalos, and body boards. Riu Karamboa has a total of 921 modern guest units across four categories and spread across the two-storey main building and three-storey annexes; ranging from Double Standard Rooms through to Suites. Double Standard Rooms are kitted out with two single beds or a double bed, sitting area with sofa, telephone, complimentary Wi-Fi, central air-conditioning, ceiling fan, minibar, liquor dispenser, electric kettle for coffee and tea, satellite television, electronic safe, balcony or terrace, and a bathroom with shower, special make-up mirror, and hairdryer.

Mogambo is the place for serve-yourself fare at breakfast, lunch, and dinner with live cooking stations and two themed dinner buffets per week. The two Pepe's Food Grills in the pool area keep you topped up with snacks and light lunch dishes during the daytime. Las Dunas poolside restaurant comes with a terrace and a menu of tasty dishes. Visit Kazumi Asian restaurant and Toscana Italian restaurant in the evening for buffet-style cuisine. Book a table at Kulinarium restaurant to enjoy a waiter-served a la carte dinner of gourmet specialities.

Praia and Mindelo Pool Bars each feature a swim-up bar and areyour ports of call for ice-cold beers and tropical cocktails. Morabeza lobby bar with terrace, Lambada lounge bar, and Brava plaza bar are the ideal spots to relax and mingle with your fellow guests over a drink or two. Sports Bar opens around-the-clock for a wide selection of hot and cold drinks. Evenings bring live music and shows and also dancing to the rhythm of top DJs, shows, and performances at the weekly 'RiuParty' theme parties.
