Staff Travel Guide: MSC Virtuosa

Claire, our Head of Contact Centres recently embarked on a once in a lifetime journey through the Norwegian Fjords on MSC Virtuosa. Claire set sail on a nine night adventure where she got to experience the Northern Lights, five star service, fine dining and so much more!

With the recent announcement that MSC Virtuosa will sail year-round from Southampton we were eager to hear all about her experience.

“Our cabin was spotlessly clean, spacious, had fridge and tea/coffee facilities, the attendant came in twice a day to make beds, clean and change the towels.

There was a huge choice of dining experiences and bars on-board. It is definitely worth booking the drinks packages as they are such great value for money. There was entertainment on constantly to suit all age groups so you were never bored and spoilt for choice. We really enjoyed the shows along with the live music on-board throughout.

Balcony Cabin

We upgraded to a Balcony Cabin so had great views from our cabin of breath-taking Norway. I would recommend booking speciality restaurants as they are just a small supplement but you get a fantastic dining experience. From Sushi to a traditional American-style steakhouse, there’s something for everyone.

There was a great atmosphere on the ship and the service from the staff was second to none, nothing was too much trouble. A top tip would be to pre book popular key excursions as they sell out due to limited availability and it isn't something you want to miss."

We are so glad Claire had such a fantastic time on MSC Virtuosa. With great value for money and top notch service we are so excited that Virtuosa will be based in the UK offering cruises to Northern Europe from three-night breaks to three-week trips!
