Break

Break is a charity based in East Anglia that aim to provide a brighter future for children and young people, especially those who have faced disadvantages and struggle with their confidence, self-esteem and mental health. The charity provides holistic services for children, and also offers a safe place to children to thrive in.

Break applied for a grant from the Hays Travel Foundation to support young people to consider what they want from life and support them to work towards their goals in personal development, education and employment. The charity has hosted sessions such as Aspiration sessions, Focused Aspiration sessions and CoffeeBreak sessions. 

Through the sessions, young people have been able to engage with new experiences in art, sport and music, skills development and work experience. The funding has had a great impact on the lives of young people with some working towards a qualification, some being ready for work and some already being in employment.
