the hotel could have been so much better!
the location was pleasant, but the interior of the hotel was "tired & in need of a great deal of TLC".
when press for an survey by the hotel "English" rep we told her : that the room needed updating, broken doors needed replacing, along with broken mirrors. the wall needed painting & freshening, the curtains didn't close properly and the were stained and there was a hole in the wall where people had opened the door and the handle had gone through the plaster! these are just a few things. we where then told .."yeah we know it needs some work but the hotel management wont release any money to pay for the work"!
we had to ask for the room to be cleaned

Hotel suited our needs, a really good 4 star hotel. Kids entertainment good with activities through the day including mini club and things for the adults such as dance lessons, archery darts etc and on a nightntokenmini disco for the kids before adult entertainment as singers, acrobats and parrot shows.
Mrs Quinn, 19 November 2018

Mrs O'reilly, 09 November 2018

Ms Davis, 31 October 2018
it was OK but the hotel was very big the spa was very tired and cold as was the pool
Miss Cogman, 22 August 2018
Hotel was great, food lovely, pool great (although a little cold on some days!) and staff friendly and courteous. Rooms were a little dated but clean. Entertainment was a little hit and miss but the kids loved it.
Miss Irwin, 09 June 2018
Overall the hotel is lovely, food was nice. Did have a chef on the last day that was quite rude and abrupt but wouldn’t leave a bad review just because of him. The only thing I would say is that the spa in the hotel, we paid for a massage which was €75 but then afterwards they wanted us to pay just to use the hydro pool inside an extra €12 each. I think personally if you pay for a ‘Spa Treatment’ then you should be able to use the facility of the pool too as you’ve already paid an amount for a service and have them business. Also at dinner time, you would think that the juice/water/soft drinks would be free on the half board package like it is at breakfast however it is not and you are charged quite a lot just for a bottle of water.

Nice hotel and well looked after - it was just TOO FAR OUT from anything, I would never stay there again.
Mr Barnish, 24 May 2018
Could not fault this hotel. Food, drinks and all the staff exellent. We have stayed here before and we would return again.
Mr Jones, 02 May 2018
Accommodation was ok but not really suited to half board, nowhere to purchase snacks at lunchtime only a full buffet. Was at least 20 to 30 min walk to nearest shops etc.
Mrs Lythe, 27 March 2018
poor for a 4 star hotel
numerous repairs required and all hotel now sadly dated
Mr Guard, 13 March 2018
Long walk to room. Should have gone all inclusive though cos half board they charge you for everything even water.
Mr Baxter, 05 March 2018
Rooms & spa are a little tired and in need of refurbishment. Restaurant, food & staff were excellent
Mrs Tarrant, 24 February 2018
Very good to excellent. Considering its size, all the services of food, cleaning and reception were run very smoothly and professionally, the restaurant staff being particularly excellent in an area serving 800+ people. The food was superb with a huge choice of fresh dishes. Only drawback, horrendously loud ‘entertainment’ between 9.00pm and 11.00 pm. The hotel layout, with all rooms opening onto a vast impressive atrium, meant that EVEryone had to suffer the noisy ‘singing’ (often well out of tune,) and squealing. We once went to see how many people were in the audience. About forty to fifty. Out of 800+! The Guest Representative, a very good system btw, was sympathetic but could do nothing. Our roomwas a little ‘tired’ but spotlessly clean and a good size. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay here, especially as when checking on the T Cook website before we left, there had been a lot of poor reviews. I think they must have been for a different Beatriz hotel. Just a note for others: beach is a good 10 min walk, but there is a bus, (not frequent,) also a good pool. Not being beach or pool people, we found lots to do, Lanzarote is a fascinating island with so many things to see, using excursions and local buses, with many paths for walking.
Mrs Stobbs, 07 February 2018
Found this hotel too far away from main area.
Although weather poor & beyond their control found public areas very cold in the restaurant people were dining wearing coats & scarves it was so cold.
Mrs Rixon, 19 January 2018
room good size and cleaned to high standard but even though the Hotel was very nice it really needed updating maintenance in places carried out e.g in our room sliding mirror wardrobe frame was in need of repair.
Mr Hoyland, 20 September 2017
The hotel was very nice but as we wasn't all inclusive the drinks were very expensive also the hotel was really out of the way from the beach and the bars so was a good 30-40 mins walk to the beach. There was a free bus but we only saw it on our last day so don't know how frequent they were.
Mrs Roberts, 29 August 2017
It's was clean, tidy and spacious in the rooms. Food was good. If there had been OK box I would have ticked that.
Would we stay again no because the entertainment was poor (catered for young children) only one of the two bars was all inclusive, so if you didn't want to list to the loud entertainment you had to get a drink, then walk up stairs across reception, downstairs to the other bar. Pool area was only cleaned in certain parts. None branded drinks were definately the low end, I've stayed all inclusive before and the alchohol and soft drinks have been a much better quality. You had to pay for the safe, fridge etc if you wanted it.
